    Everything But The Oink

My father mailed this supermarket flyer to me recently. Makes you ask: What inflation?

On a side note: When I would talk to friends about eating pig and all the parts growing up, they always looked at me in digust. Now it feels adventuresome.

The glorious pig! I still eat scrapple to this day (not nearly as often as I'd like). For those who don't know what scrapple is, it kind of speaks for itself - "scrap"ple - if you get my drift, made with most of the above and a helping of snouts and lips. Neck bones are a favorite, too. Never make a slo-cooked meat sauce for pasta without them. Hocks make for some really sensational eats, too. Cool post, D.

Our high unemployment rate will keep the price of essentials down. Thus, inflation for the average person will be insignificant. But for the wealthy, I suspect the cost of those luxury items will rise significantly. This is similar to what happened in Europe in the middle ages, as the feudal system disolved and serfs became freemen. But in our case, we will be moving from owners to renters to rid ourselve from personal debt.
